Job Summary

We are urgently seeking a qualified and compassionate Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) / Physiatry Specialist with DOH [ Female only-Al Ain] to provide specialist medical care within a home rehabilitation setting in Al Ain. The successful candidate will assess patients with physical disabilities, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, develop individualized rehabilitation plans, and coordinate multidisciplinary care to improve patients’ functional independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical and functional assessments of rehabilitation patients.
  




• Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal, neurological, and physical rehabilitation conditions.
  




• Develop individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans based on each patient's clinical needs.
  




• Monitor patient progress and modify rehabilitation plans where required.
  




• Manage pain, mobility limitations, functional impairment, and disability-related conditions.
  




• Provide medical oversight for patients receiving rehabilitation services at home.
  




• Coordinate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  




• Establish rehabilitation goals and ensure continuity of patient care.
  




• Educate patients and family members regarding rehabilitation plans, recovery expectations, and ongoing care.
  




• Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation.
  




• Ensure clinical practices comply with DOH requirements and applicable UAE healthcare standards.
  




• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical reviews.
  




• Identify complications or changes in patients' conditions and arrange appropriate medical intervention or referral.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: MBBS and recognized Specialization in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
  




• License: Active DOH license or eligibility for DOH (Abu Dhabi).
  




• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in rehabilitation and physical medicine settings.
  




• Language: Proficiency in English; Arabic preferred.
  




• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
