Physics Teacher (IGCSE Experience) British School

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Physics Teacher to join our dynamic Secondary team starting in August 2025.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching IGCSE
Physics and a deep understanding of the British Curriculum.

·        Prepare students effectively for IGCSE Physics
examinations

·        Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated
lessons that meet the needs of all learners

·        Use formative and summative assessments to
monitor progress and inform instruction

·        Create a stimulating and well-managed learning
environment

·        Participate in school events, parent meetings,
and extracurricular activities

·        Collaborate with colleagues to enhance
curriculum delivery and cross-curricular learning 

• Stay up to date with developments in science
  education and contribute to continuous improvement
  

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a closely
related subject

·        Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE,
B.Ed., QTS)

·        Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching Physics,
including IGCSE (A Level experience desirable)

·        Strong understanding of the British Curriculum
and assessment frameworks

·        Excellent classroom management and lesson
planning skills

·        Ability to inspire and challenge students of all
abilities

·        Strong communication and teamwork skills

·        ADEK approval or eligibility is a plus
