Planning Engineer

Develops project plans to deliver the business requirements as requested by Lead Production Planning Engineer. Manage the capacity planning tools to ensure a consistent approach is adopted to maintain the serviceability of aircrafts and the best Technical Dispatch Reliability. Establish efficient and effective internal procedures including interfaces to support the department objectives as well as provide assistance to other departments for capacity planning in addition to forecasting of requirements. Coordinate with Stake holders to arrange additional infrastructure and facilities like Hangar, Cranes, Dockings, Special Tools, Parking bays etc in a timely manner to meet all maintenance demands from CAMO. Perform other duties that may be assigned by Lead Production Planning Engineer. Ensures that all work performed at Etihad is completed in accordance with the processes and procedures recorded on the approved manuals and is done in a safe manner. Tertiary qualifications that meet the eligibility requirements for membership as a chartered engineer (e.g. Bachelors degree in the field of Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical / Electronic Engineering) with a minimum 3 years job-related experience. Or Diploma / Aircraft license with at least 7 years of experience in Aviation maintenance. Aircraft technical training (Gen fam course is acceptable) on at least one of the Etihad aircraft types.
