Planning Engineer

Project Scheduling & Planning

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
  




• Define project milestones, critical paths, and key deliverables.
  




• Coordinate with project teams to gather inputs for planning and scheduling purposes.
  

Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly.
  




• Identify potential delays or risks and suggest corrective actions.
  




• Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
  




• Track actual vs. planned timelines, manpower, and resources.
  

Coordination & Documentation

• Liaise with project managers, engineers, procurement, and site teams for accurate planning data.
  




• Assist in preparing work breakdown structures (WBS), manpower histograms, and resource allocation plans.
  




• Ensure proper documentation of schedules, updates, and baselines.
  

Cost & Resource Management Support

• Coordinate with the commercial team for budget and cost alignment.
  




• Assist in monitoring material usage, subcontractor progress, and procurement lead times.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  




• Minimum 4 years of experience in planning within the aluminium and glass/façade or construction industry.
  




• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.
  




• Strong knowledge of aluminium and glass systems, façade elements, and construction workflows.
  




• Familiarity with site operations, procurement processes, and project execution practices.
  




• Good understanding of UAE construction standards and timelines.
  




• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
