Responsibilities:
- Install,
repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, water supply systems, drainage systems, and fixtures within the zoo and resort facilities (Staff accommodations, hotel, chalet, green area irrigation, ZOO bathrooms, swimming pools, animal pools and aquarium).
- Inspect
plumbing systems for leaks, clogs, or faulty components and carry out repairs in a timely manner.
- Maintain
the overall cleanliness and functionality of plumbing infrastructure across the park, guest accommodations, restaurants, and other resort amenities.
- Diagnose
plumbing issues and determine the cause of problems to ensure efficient and cost-effective repairs.
- Respond
to urgent plumbing issues, such as blocked drains, leaking pipes, or water pressure issues, ensuring minimal disruption to guest services.
- Repair
or replace plumbing fixtures and fittings, such as taps, showers, toilets, water heaters, and pumps.
- Install
new plumbing systems, such as piping, valves, and drainage systems, for new developments or upgrades to existing facilities.
- Work
with the project team to install plumbing systems during new construction, renovations, or system expansions.
- Conduct
regular inspections and preventive maintenance checks on plumbing systems to avoid unexpected failures and maintain optimal operation.
- Ensure
that all plumbing systems comply with local building codes and health and safety regulations.
- Provide
plumbing support for the operational needs of the zoo and resort, including animal enclosures, public restrooms, restaurants, hotels, and other guest facilities.
- Work
closely with the maintenance team to ensure all plumbing-related concerns are addressed quickly and professionally.
- Assist
with emergency plumbing issues that may arise during daily operations, ensuring minimal disruption to guest activities.
- Maintain
an inventory of plumbing materials, tools, and parts required for repairs and installations.
- Monitor
stock levels and report any shortages or the need for new tools and supplies to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Adhere
to all safety guidelines, environmental regulations, and health standards while performing plumbing tasks.
- Use
appropriate safety gear and ensure plumbing tasks are conducted in a safe manner to prevent accidents or damage.
- Maintain
accurate records of plumbing tasks, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance work carried out.
- Report
major plumbing issues and completed works to the Maintenance Supervisor, including updates on ongoing projects and repairs.
