Power Risk Engineer AVPVP

Marsh Advisory Team Position:

Marsh Advisory Team is seeking candidates for the following position based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi: Power Risk Engineer

The role will involve:

1. Client-facing duties including surveying power generation assets, producing risk assessments, loss estimates, and conducting training and benchmarking exercises.
2. Interacting with senior client staff in Risk Management, Operations, and Engineering functions.
3. Communication at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct standard risk engineering surveys including site visits, interviews, and report generation.
• Perform risk assessments of operational power plants and review new projects for clients.
• Support the Power Broking team in placing risks in international insurance markets.
• Manage and develop the Engineering Management System.

Requirements:

• Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Systems Engineering Degree.
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in relevant areas.
• Ability to travel extensively in the Middle East and worldwide.
• Proficiency in English and IT literacy.

Desired Qualifications:

• Comfort with presenting to business partners including senior leadership.
• Certified Accountant Qualification.
