About the job

The Pre-Sales Sr. Solution Architect will generate and own solution opportunities, working and selling closely with MAQTA’s partners. The role delivers growth of MAQTA’S solutions by developing the partner ecosystem, and positioning solutions that solve the customers’ business challenges.

Role responsibilities:

Strategy

• Engagement with customers of strategic accounts to identify, generate and nurture new business opportunities through industry solutions, leading opportunity engagements.

• Work with MAQTA’s partners to build out the MAQTA’s industry solution portfolio/map, to comprehensively solve business challenges, and identifying industry leading partners for recruitment.

• Drive the deployment of MAQTA's solutions and increase their consumption by providing deployment guidance, support, and appropriate recommendations to overcome blockers for customers.

• Establish deep relationships with key OT/IT decision makers, who drive long-term digitalization to resolve business problems within their company.

• Understand customer’s business requirements, challenge assumptions to motivate change.

• Lead mapping of business goals & requirements to MAQTA's solutions while taking a systems-wide view of the customer's existing IT-landscape.

• Keep up to date with market trends in target industry, competitive insights, and industry regulatory/compliance requirements.

Solution Architecture

• Provides leadership on technology and domain area to come-up with a compelling business solution.

• Articulates cost benefit analysis and build business case / Architecture / proposal.

• Architects, designs, and develops integrated business process and/or engineering systems and products to support the achievement of the business goals.

• Reviews other system and application designs to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technologies.

• Provides input to the cost and pricing models and apply key financial concepts.

• Supports implementation and operations capabilities to deploy the designs.

• Works with various stakeholders to bring in innovation across various streams of services offerings.

• Works with various stakeholders to translate the solution into a Scope of Work Document.

• Maintain a detailed knowledge of current best practices and emerging trends within technical architecture and application development arenas.

• Design an application's technical infrastructure, such as specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches.

• Participate in the assessment of software defects discovered during the quality assurance process.

Communications

• Utilizes state-of-the-art, best-in-class tools, techniques, and methods to deliver technical presentations to peers, leadership team, sales executives, clients, prospects, etc.

• Works collaboratively with various internal stakeholders to bring in synergies to the solution architecture, implementation plan, optimized delivery model and costing.

• Works collaboratively with all partners in the pursuit/proposal development process.

• Presents solutions to all levels of management with minimal supervision and to client with support from the Sales organization.

• Serve as a credible expert advisor to executives on the use of current and future technologies for optimal impact on current and future business strategies and results.

• Advise functional leaders and executives as company's highest-level resource for making strategic investments in applications, databases, technologies, systems, programs, or processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience. A graduate degree is preferred.

Minimum of 8+ years industry solution selling experience and expertise working in business roles in a global company.

Minimum of 8+ years of experience implementing and deploying complex, business critical industry solutions.
