Product Designer (UI UX research & designing) -Digital banking/ Fintech

We have an urgent requirement for Product Designer (UI UX research & designing) -Digital banking/ Fintech experience for one of the banks in Abu Dhabi.

• Experience with designing quality consumer products, as well as enabling business capability and objectives through technology---Must

ROLE PURPOSE
The UX Design primary responsibility will be to drive the end-to-end product design, including discovery, ideation, conceptualizing, detailed design, prototypes and validation, within cross-functional product teams
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Be highly analytical as well as highly creative, and consistently demonstrate superb design, writing and presentation skills.Foster collaboration both inside and outside the team, evangelizes and promotes UX within the company, and can juggle several high-level projects while delivering A-level work on all of them.Justify design decisions based on a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies. Thrive in a work environment that requires strong independent problem-solving skills, self-direction, and innovative thinking coupled with an aptitude and affinity for team collaboration and open communication.Clearly articulate design needs and key decisions to business stakeholders across markets and brands collaborating closely with Product Leads and Product ManagersDesign elegant and delightful product experiences as part of a cross-functional Agile product teamsResearch, identify and articulate customer needsCollaborate & lead other designers within and cross-team to problem solve design challenges and maintain a level of design consistency and coherence across productsLeading regular creative sessions and an environment of learning amongst the team members to guide them through their quest of better user experience and creative user interfaces
TECHINCAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Experience with designing quality consumer products, as well as enabling business capability and objectives through technologyEntrepreneurial self-starter who is self-motivated, but also a team player with a professional presenceGraphical and Visual Design skills using a diverse set of software such as Adobe suite, Figma, Sketch or other tools for product design.Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototypingKnowledge of Agile software development process
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Must have previous experience of working in digital product design in financial services (banking/Fintech/digital transformation)Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent areaExperience managing a team of UI/UX designersAbility to communicate with different departments of a multi-national and dynamic organizationExperience with design tools like Sketch, Adobe Suite and FigmaExperience with conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping  Knowledge of Agile software development processKnowledge of Design Systems is a plus
