Product Engineer for Commissioning & Operations - Global Data Center

This position owns the global service product strategy and roadmap for commissioning and operational services within Eaton\u2019s Global Data Center Segment. The role is accountable for defining standardized, scalable, and digitally enabled service offerings that support system commissioning, integrated testing, and ongoing operations across regions.\n\nPositioned within the Post Order CoE for the segment, this role ensures that Eaton\u2019s commissioning and operations services evolve in alignment with the BrightLayer Data Center (BLDC) roadmap, enabling consistent execution, automation, and differentiation at scale.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nGlobal Service Product Ownership\n\n * Own the end\u2011to\u2011end lifecycle of service products related to commissioning and operations, from concept through deployment and evolution.\n * Define and maintain a global roadmap for: \nSingle\u2011system functional testing \nL3/L4 integrated testing (off\u2011site and on\u2011site) \nDigitized commissioning workflows \nOperational service execution models\n * Ensure offerings are globally consistent while allowing for regional regulatory and execution requirements.\n\n\n\nDigital Enablement \u0026 Platform Alignment\n\n * Specify service requirements for digital tools, automation, and platforms that enable commissioning and operations.\n * Partner with BrightLayer and digital product teams to ensure service execution needs are embedded into platform capabilities.\n * Drive standardization, automation, and data visibility across post\u2011order service activities.\n\n\n\nCross\u2011Functional Leadership\n\n * Lead through influence across engineering, digital, operations, quality, and regional service teams.\n * Act as the primary product interface between post\u2011order execution and product/digital organizations.\n * Align stakeholders around clear service definitions, priorities, and outcomes.\n * Works closely with EHS leaders to ensure Safety is enbibed in each process and standardization\n * Helps to drive right training matrix for Field Service team ensuring the right capabilities are in place to correlate with Commissioning and operational procedures\n\n\n\nGovernance \u0026 Performance\n\n * Define success metrics for service products, including quality, repeatability, scalability, and customer value.\n * Support global launch readiness, lifecycle governance, and continuous improvement.\n * Incorporate customer and field feedback into roadmap decisions.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.\n * 8+ years of progressive experience product management, service product management, commissioning, operations, or systems delivery within complex industrial, digital, or infrastructure environments.\n\n\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Experience in data centers, mission\u2011critical infrastructure, power systems, or large\u2011scale capital projects.\n * Experience in data center, mission\u2011critical, or infrastructure field services.\n * Exposure to digital platforms, automation, or software\u2011enabled service models.\n * Experience working across EMEA, with exposure to Americas and APAC operations.\n * Familiarity with global framework agreements, long\u2011cycle projects, and multi\u2011region execution models.\n\n\n\n## What we offer you:\n\n * Being part of a company that has been in business for more than 100 years, is well known in the industry, and has a major impact on the energy industry\n * Work in a company that is commitment to Inclusion \u0026 Diversity and Sustainability\n * Annual mentoring program, Eaton University, a reward, and recognition system\n * Ongoing Learning and Career Development Opportunities in a global company.
