Job Description - Product Pricing Manager (Automotive)

A leading automotive organization is seeking a Product Pricing Manager to support pricing governance, commercial competitiveness, and margin performance across its vehicle and product portfolio.

This role sits at the intersection of product, commercial strategy, and operational execution. The successful candidate will lead pricing processes, coordinate cross -functional stakeholders, and ensure pricing decisions align with business objectives, market conditions, and brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities     

As Product Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing end -to -end pricing activities across assigned automotive product lines

  • Developing and maintaining pricing structures that balance competitiveness, profitability, and market positioning

  • Coordinating with sales, product, finance, and leadership teams to align pricing strategy and execution

  • Conducting pricing analysis based on competitor benchmarking, market trends, and customer demand

  • Supporting product launches with pricing recommendations, commercial readiness, and governance approvals

  • Monitoring pricing performance, margins, and discount effectiveness to ensure business targets are met

  • Maintaining pricing documentation, approval workflows, and clear commercial standards

  • Identifying pricing risks early and proposing corrective actions when performance deviates

Commercial & Market Focus

This role operates in a dynamic automotive environment where pricing decisions impact:

  • OEM competitiveness

  • Dealer and partner network alignment

  • Customer affordability and positioning

  • Revenue growth and profitability

The Pricing Manager will play a central role in ensuring pricing remains disciplined, structured, and responsive to market realities.



Requirements

Requirements / Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in product pricing, commercial strategy, revenue management, or automotive product operations

  • Strong analytical skills with experience building pricing models, margin analysis, and competitive benchmarking

  • Understanding of automotive commercial structures, including dealer pricing, OEM programs, incentives, and lifecycle pricing

  • Proven ability to coordinate cross -functional stakeholders across sales, finance, product, and leadership

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort managing structured approval and governance processes

  • Ability to communicate pricing decisions clearly to both technical and commercial audiences

  • Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; experience with pricing systems is a plus
