Product Specialist

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Product Specialist to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and providing scientific information about their generic pharmaceutical products to neurologists and healthcare professionals, with a particular focus on multiple sclerosis (MS) cases. This role requires a deep understanding of the neurotherapeutics market and excellent relationship-building skills to drive product adoption and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Promotion and Sales:

• Promote our client's generic pharmaceutical products to neurologists and healthcare professionals, focusing on treatments for multiple sclerosis.
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Conduct regular visits to healthcare professionals, hospitals, and clinics to provide detailed product information, answer questions, and address concerns.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals in the neurology field.
• Identify and engage with new potential customers and maintain a comprehensive database of contacts.

Scientific Expertise and Training:

• Stay updated with the latest clinical data, research, and developments in the field of neurology, particularly related to multiple sclerosis.
• Provide scientific support and training to healthcare professionals on the use and benefits of our client's generic products.
• Organize and participate in medical conferences, seminars, and workshops to present product information and updates.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

• Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape, identify market trends, and gather insights on customer needs.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports, market analysis, and customer feedback to the management team.

Compliance:

• Ensure all activities and interactions are conducted in compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Specialist or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on neurology and multiple sclerosis.
• Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical market, particularly generics, and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in promoting neurotherapeutic products.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
