Hiring: Production Engineer – Heavy Steel Fabrication

We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to manage fabrication operations for heavy steel structures, including pressure vessels, process skids, storage tanks, piping spools, and skid packages.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Plan and manage fabrication projects and jobs based on available resources

  
  


• 
  

  Lead production activities and ensure timely project execution

  
  


• 
  

  Manage and guide 50+ workshop personnel

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and production activities

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, productivity, and fabrication standards

  
  


• 
  

  Review fabrication and isometric drawings and resolve production issues

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate with engineering, quality, HSE, and project teams

  
  


• 
  

  Drive productivity, problem-solving, and continuous improvement

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline

  
  


• 
  

  6+ years of relevant production/fabrication experience

  
  


• 
  

  Strong experience with all of the following:

    Process Skids

    
    
  
  
  •

  Strong knowledge of ASME, API & AWS codes and standards

  
  


• 
  

  Hands-on knowledge of TIG, MIG, SMAW & SAW welding processes

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of material grades, fabrication drawings & isometric drawings

  
  


• 
  

  Proven experience managing 50+ workshop personnel

  
  


• 
  

  Strong project/job planning and resource management skills

  
  


• 
  

  Good knowledge of HSE requirements and productivity standards

  
  


• 
  

  Strong coordination, leadership, planning, and decision-making skills

  
  


• 
  

  UAE/GCC fabrication workshop experience preferred
