The Projects Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and delivering facilities management projects, including fit-out, refurbishment, MEP upgrades, asset replacement, and maintenance improvement initiatives. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with client requirements, quality standards, and statutory regulations.
Plan, manage, and execute FM-related projects from initiation through completion.
Prepare project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and work programs.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical submittals.
Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for management and clients.
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and quality audits.
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, HSE policies, and contractual obligations.
Manage procurement of materials and coordinate timely delivery to project sites.
Evaluate subcontractor performance and monitor work quality.
Verify measurements, review invoices, and certify contractor payment applications.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover activities.
Maintain project documentation, including drawings, permits, approvals, and close-out reports.
Assist in preparing project proposals, cost estimates, and technical solutions for new business opportunities.
Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely project delivery.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
3–7 years of experience in Facilities Management, MEP, construction, or engineering project execution.
