Project Engineer Concrete Repair & Protective Coatings

Our
client is a well -established building contractor specializing in refurbishment,
rehabilitation and specialist surface protection projects up to AED 10M across
the UAE.

We are recruiting a UAE experienced Project Engineer to manage concrete repair, structural
refurbishment and protective treatment projects across residential and
commercial developments. The role will oversee project execution involving
concrete rehabilitation, specialist coating systems and surface protection
solutions, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to required
quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage concrete repair,
  structural refurbishment and protective coating projects from planning through
  to completion, coordinating materials, resources and site teams to achieve
  project requirements.
  
• Review technical
  drawings, specifications and project documentation, including preparing and
  modifying AutoCAD drawings to support project delivery.
  
• Coordinate with clients,
  consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain progress,
  resolve technical issues and ensure effective project execution.
  
• Conduct site
  inspections, assess surface conditions, monitor workmanship and implement
  corrective actions to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety
  requirements.
  

Mandatory Skills
& Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ UAE
  project engineering experience managing concrete repair, structural
  refurbishment, rehabilitation or specialist coating projects, with a mandatory
  background in residential fit -out or refurbishment.
  
• Strong technical
  knowledge of concrete repair methodologies, structural strengthening, surface
  preparation processes and specialist coating systems including epoxy,
  polyurethane, protective and anti -static solutions.
  
• Experience with related
  specialist works such as waterproofing, industrial flooring and surface
  protection systems are an advantage.
  
• Proficient in AutoCAD
  with the ability to prepare and modify technical drawings.
  
• Valid UAE driving
  license is mandatory.
  

Candidate Profile

• Currently residing in
  the UAE.
  
• Good command of written
  and verbal English.
  
• A proactive self -starter
  with strong technical judgment, able to take ownership of project delivery,
  make practical decisions and provide effective solutions on site.
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in
  Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline is
  mandatory.
