Job Description - Project Engineer - faÃ§ade

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading contracting company in the UAE to recruit a skilled Project Engineer â FaÃ§ade for large-scale, high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will support faÃ§ade engineering coordination, shop drawing review, material submittals, site execution, and quality compliance to ensure seamless delivery of curtain wall and cladding system

Responsibilities:

- Review faÃ§ade shop drawings, section details, and anchor point layouts for compliance with design and project specifications.
- Prepare and track material submittals, approvals, and procurement schedules for faÃ§ade components (glass, aluminum, gaskets, sealants, anchors).
- Coordinate between design teams, consultants, site teams, and faÃ§ade subcontractors to resolve technical and interface issues.
- Ensure site installation aligns with approved Revit/BIM models, structural interfaces, and MEP penetrations.
- Monitor daily faÃ§ade installation progress and report discrepancies to senior management.
- Conduct quality checks on delivered materials, mock-up panels, water penetration testing, and sealant applications.
- Assist in preparing method statements, risk assessments, and inspection test plans (ITPs) for faÃ§ade works.
- Track material deliveries, storage conditions, and handling procedures to prevent damage or delays.
- Maintain site records, daily progress reports, and as-built faÃ§ade documentation.
- Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve site-level issues.

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor's Degree / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Experience: 7â14 years in contracting companies, with mandatory experience in high-rise building faÃ§ade works (curtain wall, cladding, glazing, or stick systems).
- Core Competencies: Strong technical coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
