Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Purchase Executive to join our dynamic team in the engineering sector. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of UAE experience, with a strong track record in procurement and excellent negotiation skills to secure cost-effective deals. The role requires a prompt and aggressive personality, capable of handling pressure and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and Procure Materials: Identify, evaluate, and procure materials, equipment, and services necessary for project completion.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms, and manage supplier performance.
• Inventory Monitoring: Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply and timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.
• Internal Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and coordinate purchasing activities accordingly.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and innovative procurement strategies that can enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the UAE, particularly in the engineering sector.
• Education: Engineering degree preferred.
• Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure cost-effective deals.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and coordinate with various internal departments.
• Proactivity: A prompt, aggressive, and proactive approach to follow-ups and procurement activities.
