Job Description - QS Costing - MEP

Black & Grey HR is hiring a QS Costing â MEP for a leading Tier 1 contracting company in Dubai, UAE. Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced professional with expertise in high-rise building projects to handle MEP quantity surveying, costing, estimation, and project coordination activities across large-scale developments. Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

-Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and BOQs for MEP works

-Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents related to MEP systems

-Monitor project costs, variations, and budget control activities

-Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for costing and estimation requirements

-Evaluate quotations, material costs, and subcontractor pricing to ensure cost efficiency

-Prepare project reports, payment certifications, and cost analysis documentation

-Ensure all costing activities comply with project standards and contractual requirements

Requirements

-Bachelorâs Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E / B.Tech) is mandatory

-6â10 years of experience in QS Costing â MEP within the construction industry

-Mandatory experience in high-rise building projects in the UAE/GCC

-Strong knowledge of MEP quantity surveying, costing, estimation, and BOQ preparation

-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications

-Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills
