Qualifications Recognition Specialist

Overall Purpose of the Role

Prepare and participate in reviewing studies in the field of recognition of qualifications and in information management across sectors in the UAE; ensure research procedures are followed in this field; and propose practical recommendations to implement the outputs of research and studies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare reports on plans related to studies of qualifications recognition issued by company education department and by technical, vocational, and technological institutions.
2. Coordinate with relevant entities inside and outside the company to prepare reports on plans related to recognition studies.
3. Conduct field follow-up on research and studies concerning certificate recognition and ensure implementation according to plans.
4. Participate in receiving recognition requests and issuing recognition certificates.
5. Respond to students’ inquiries submitted through the recognition service and answer questions about applicable recognition systems and conditions.
6. Participate in executing all plans and procedures set by the Company relating to the implementation and preparation of studies and research.
7. Identify information sources needed to prepare studies on strategies and plans related to recognition processes, and submit them to the Head of Section.
8. Apply standards and conditions for recognizing certificates issued by education institutions outside the State, and verify their authenticity.
9. Carry out any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
