Quality Controller

Job Purpose 
Ensure a standardized quality control process is followed within the Workshop
     
Key Accountabilities  

1.    Perform Quality check on all completed repairs on the customer vehicle including road test to ensure the highest quality standard and ensure 100% completion of customer requested work.
2.    Do the job right the first time
3.    Conduct, record and report results of Quality Control Inspections
4.    Assign and dispatch repair orders to the most appropriately skilled Technician based on priority and completion time
5.    Distribute repair orders with expected job completion time
6.    Keep Service Advisors constantly informed of delays and additional work found
7.    Monitor the reasons for, and the progress of each job stoppage
8.    Monitor, record and identify the causes of vehicle carryovers
9.    Monitor and record the causes of repeat repairs
10.    Monitor and record the causes of repeat repairs
11.    Assist Technicians with diagnosis of difficult repairs
12.    Assist Service Advisors with repair explanation when required
13.    Ensure vehicle cleaning is completed before delivery
14.    Any relevant ad-hoc duties and/or relevant special projects may be assigned by the Management.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

●    Graduate in Engineering / Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical
●    2-3 year experience as quality controller, within a reputable automotive dealership or reputed workshop.
●    Sound Technical knowledge with ability to understand customer needs and requirements.
