Job Description - Quality Health Safety Environment Supervisor

We're looking to hire a dynamic QHSE Supervisor to join Sichem team in Abu Dhabi, UAE .

Sichem is a company of Mazrui Energy Services LLC. SICHEM specialises in manufacturing and toll blending specialty oilfield chemicals for drilling, production, and other oilfield applications.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate with the all internal stakeholders involving QHSE concerns
  • Consult, advise and direct operations in matters relating to HSE
  • Perform Incident Investigation which include Root Causes Analysis
  • Liaison with Client HSE representative on site or country in regards to HSE matters
  • Maintaining internal and external reporting according to established systems
  • Participation in, coordination and developing of, site HSE meetings, ToolBox Talks, Pre tower meetings, etc.
  • Initiate and Participate in Regulatory, Operator and Internal QHSE audits
  • To conduct Audits in regards to ISO and suppliers, Management representative for external audits
  • Responsible for company ISO and other related Quality certifications
  • Responsible for overall QA/QC administration
  • Develop, Maintain and update site or country evacuation plans, procedures and measures
  • Provide information to Management on accidents/incidents in a timely manner according to established
  • MES and Client Bridging Document
  • Monitor compliance against the monthly HSE schedule, follow HSE site schedule and perform inspections
  • Lead, Oversee and advise on implementation of STOP/TWAKAF and STOP Work Authority Program
  • Update regularly QHSE Communication boards
  • Oversee implementation of operational systems and procedures to include but not be limited to: Control of Work Permit to Work System, (Lock-Out/Tag-Out System), Hazardous Chemical -MSDS, PPE System, Working at Height, H2S Awareness, Benchmarking and other required training activities
  • Monitor readiness/response to emergency situations through regularly held and documented drills
  • Execution/Reviewing/Monitoring of required Hygiene inspections for office, site and camps
  • Follow of the Corrective Action Register for non-compliance items arising from meetings and inspections
  • Maintenance of the Lifting & Slings Registers and Inspection Program for sites in country
  • Monitor compliance with Travel/Journey Management System where applicable
  • Perform Visitor and Employee induction on the office and the site and advise on Camp induction
  • Act as OCMIC (On Scene Man in Charge) during emergency situations
  • Develop, Update, Deliver training and maintain training data
  • Monitor and advise Management on IVMS (In Vehicle Monitoring System) data - Arvento
  • Submit Daily, Weekly, Monthly and other KPI's HSE report as per MES Procedure including Aegis Software
  • Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Functional and Operational Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and HSE Officer is capable and deemed competent to fulfill these.
  • Under direction of Sustainability Team Leader to Lead, Identify and apply effective sustainability solution within BU
  • Under direction of Sustainability Team Leader to Develop, Implement and Monitor sustainability initiatives and strategies
  • Under direction of Sustainability Team Leader to Identify stakeholders and their roles in advancing sustainability efforts
  • Ensure maximum impact from applying Sustainability, ESG and CSR standards framework
  • Communicate organizational strategies, material issues, impacts and performance via sustainability reports
  • Recognize opportunities and challenges related to Sustainability, ESG and CSR
  • Monitor utilization of Sustainability Budget and proper implementation

Required

  • A minimum of five years' experience in safety or QA/QC profession
  • Advanced in Quality and HSE auditing and audit report preparation
  • Advanced in maintenance of safety equipment and inspection requirements
  • Advanced experience in Incident Investigation with Root Cause Analysis
  • Bachelor degree or Higher Secondary education
  • IGC - General Certificate from NEBOSH or NVQ
  • Tech IOSH as minimum, Grad IOSH recommended
