Quant Analyst / Quant Research

Location: Dubai (Relocation after probation)

We are seeking a Sports Betting Quant Analyst to work directly alongside our Props Trader across Tennis, NBA, and Football markets. This is a quantitative research position at the intersection of trader intuition, statistical modelling, and market execution .

You will not place bets yourself, but your work will determine which ideas receive capital , how positions are sized , and how risk is controlled . This is a role for someone who wants to apply rigorous analytics to fast‑moving, high‑variance sports markets.

• Translate trader hypotheses into robust statistical testing frameworks
• Analyse player and team props across Tennis, NBA, and Football
• Evaluate variance, sample size validity, correlation structures, and edge persistence

• Build and refine fair‑probability models using Betfair, Matchbook and other exchanges
• Analyse liquidity behaviour, price drift, order book imbalances , and value after commission
• Provide actionable fair‑value benchmarks for execution

• Compare internal fair values against bookmaker pricing
• Identify stale lines, correlated mispricings, and slow‑moving markets
• Produce execution documents including stake sizing, hedging logic, and kill rules

• Track CLV and benchmark performance against exchanges
• Build internal dashboards covering hit rates, drawdowns, volatility, and edge decay
• Support continuous improvement of models and trading heuristics

• Strong grounding in probability, statistics, and data analysis
• Proficiency in Python (pandas/numpy) or R
• Solid SQL experience
• Understanding of vig removal, staking theory, CLV, and exchange market mechanics
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to traders and decision‑makers

• Experience with Betfair API, Pinnacle feeds , or similar data sources
• Familiarity with Sportradar, Opta, StatsBomb
• Web scraping or process automation
• Interest or domain familiarity in Tennis, NBA, or Football player props
