Quantity Surveyor Civil and Building work

• Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (QS) Civil and Building work

• Salary: 6000-9000 AED per month
• Joining required: Immediately

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for civil and building work projects
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of potential projects
• Evaluate and negotiate prices with contractors and suppliers
• Monitor project progress and costs, and make adjustments as needed to ensure budget compliance
• Prepare and submit progress reports to management and clients
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress and quality of work
• Manage and track all project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment
• Prepare and review contract documents and change orders
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project success
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulations, and make recommendations for cost-saving measures
• Resolve any issues or disputes related to project costs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of civil and building work processes and procedures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using cost estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
• Familiarity with local regulations and building codes in Abu Dhabi is preferred.
