Radiation Oncologist

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate new patients and create personalized radiation therapy plans based on their specific medical conditions and needs.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care.
• Administer radiation therapies and closely monitor patient responses, adjusting treatments as needed for optimal results.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, processes, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in line with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in research activities to contribute to advancements in the field of radiation oncology and improve clinical practices.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in radiation therapy to enhance patient care.

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology is essential
• Current and valid state medical license
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in radiation oncology preferred
• Expertise in radiation therapy procedures and patient management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and families
• Ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
• Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
