In this pivotal role, you will provide exceptional care to cancer patients by developing individualized radiation therapy plans using advanced techniques and technologies. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, emphasizing compassion and support throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments to establish tailored radiation treatment plans based on patient diagnoses and needs.
• Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and nursing staff to devise optimal treatment strategies.
• Administer radiation treatments and closely monitor patient responses, adjusting plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, processes, and expected outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment plans and patient interactions in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in clinical studies and research initiatives to advance the field of radiation oncology.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and evolving best practices in radiation treatment.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology is essential
• Active medical license in the relevant state
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in radiation oncology
• Proficiency in operating radiation therapy equipment and developing treatment plans
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide empathetic patient care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development
• Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
