Radiation Oncologist (Clinical Oncologist)

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients for radiation treatment, including planning and verifying treatment protocols.
• Utilize advanced radiation therapy techniques to treat various cancer conditions effectively.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust protocols as necessary for optimal care.
• Collaborate with medical oncologists, surgeons, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive cancer care.
• Provide education and support to patients and families about the radiation therapy process and side effects management.
• Engage in clinical trials and research initiatives to contribute to advancements in radiation oncology.
• Stay current with industry advancements and best practices in radiation treatment.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialized training in Radiation Oncology.
• Valid medical license to practice in the state.
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology required.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical radiation oncology preferred.
• Proficient in the use of advanced radiation therapy technologies and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions.
