Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine appropriate radiation therapy treatment plans.
• Administer radiation treatments and monitor patient responses throughout therapy.
• Collaborate with medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, and other healthcare professionals in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment options, side effects, and coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
• Stay abreast of advancements in radiation oncology and participate in continuing medical education.
• Engage in clinical research and contribute to quality improvement initiatives in the department.

• M.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited medical school with specialized training in Radiation Oncology.
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology is highly preferred.
• Active medical license to practice in the jurisdiction.
• Significant experience in radiation therapy and management of oncological patients.
• Proficient understanding of advanced radiation techniques and imaging technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to compassionate patient care and ongoing professional development.
