Job Description - Receptionist

· Greeting visitors, customers andemployees with positive and friendlyattitudes.

· Answer incoming callsquickly and professionally.

· Transfercalls to appropriate individuals ordepartments.

· Writing down messagesand delivering them to the intendedrecipients.

· Directing visitors tothe appropriate person ordepartment.

· Providing informationabout the organization and itsservices.

· Scheduling appointmentsfor clients or employees.

· Confirmappointments and manage thecalendar.

· Receiving and distributingmail and parcels.

· Coordinateoutgoing mail and parcels.

· Maintainorder and presentation of the front deskarea.

· Ensure the availability ofoffice supplies at the receptiondesk.

· Control access to the place byissuing cards or permits tovisitors.

· Follow safety proceduresto maintain a safe environment.

·Assist with administrative tasks such as classification, dataentry, and photography.

· Providingsupport to other departments asneeded.

· Respond to inquiries anddirect questions to the appropriateperson.

· Dealing with complaints orproblems by directing them to the correctchannels.

· Maintaining theconfidentiality of sensitive information and adhering to privacypolicies.
