Rehabilitation & Physical Medicine Specialist - Sharjah

As a Rehabilitation & Physical Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical impairments to improve their mobility and quality of life. Your role will involve working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or impairments.
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans including physical therapy, medication, and other modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families regarding rehabilitation processes, preventive measures, and home care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records compliant with healthcare regulations.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in rehabilitation and physical medicine.

• Medical degree with specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
• Board certification or equivalent qualification in Rehabilitation & Physical Medicine.
• Valid medical license to practice in Sharjah, UAE.
• Proven clinical experience in rehabilitation of patients with physical and neurological conditions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Commitment to high standards of patient care and continuous professional development.
