Spotify’s Artist and Label Partnerships team is seeking an Artist & Label Partnerships Manager consultant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you’ll work to ensure that key artists, managers, and labels view Spotify as the leading partner for artist development and monetization.
In this role, you’ll focus on Khaleeji music, with a deep understanding of Saudi Arabia’s diverse music scene, including traditional, modern, and emerging genres. Knowledge of socio-cultural contexts for music in Saudi Arabia and the broader Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region will be a plus. You will collaborate with teams in the region to implement pivotal initiatives in Saudi Arabia and work with international counterparts on global campaigns. Overall, you’ll bring a varied perspective and make a positive impact on the music industry in the region.
What You'll Do
- Build and develop relationships with record labels and the artist community in Saudi Arabia, supporting and educating them on Spotify’s tools and resources to improve their business
- Ensure priority releases are available on Spotify from the first day of release
- Facilitate artist-fan engagement on Spotify’s platform
- Collaborate with the editorial team to localize content strategies and ensure successful implementation in Saudi Arabia
- Work cross-functionally with Spotify teams to achieve Spotify’s strategic goals and support cross-functional projects
- Advocate for Spotify’s interests and initiatives within Saudi Arabia’s creator community
- Build and share presentations and documents to communicate team and project performance and recommendations to collaborators
- Ensure Spotify offers the best possible content in Saudi Arabia to appeal to existing and new users
- Develop methodologies to position Spotify as a best-in-class partner for artists and labels in the region
- Attend events, conferences, and shows as necessary to stay connected with the music ecosystem
Who You Are
- You have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in label and artist relations at a digital music service, record label, or media company
- Deep knowledge of Saudi music genres and strong local industry contacts
- You possess a robust music and technology background with a consistent track record in music marketing and operations
- You are skilled in the latest digital marketing, content management systems, and supply chain processes
- You have strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Data-driven with the ability to set strategies and measure results
- Highly organized, meticulous, and capable of delivering under tight timelines
- Experience in leading cross-functional collaboration
- You are proficient in Saudi music industry and cultural trends
- Proficient in English & Arabic (spoken & written)
Where You'll Be
- This position is available through a third party and you will be based in Saudi Arabia
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home
