This role is crucial for ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical services within military healthcare environments. The Clinical Subject Matter Expert will provide oversight and guidance, interpret policies, and support compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will possess thorough clinical expertise and a detail-oriented approach, adept at navigating regulatory language while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. This position allows you to bridge clinical operations and compliance, ensuring that service standards are met and exceeded.
Accountabilities
- Serve as a clinical SME supporting clinical programs, including autism and case management operations and compliance requirements
- Interpret and apply guidance outlined in program manuals
- Provide clinical consultation to the internal clinical team
- Support quality assurance, documentation review, and compliance monitoring
- Support the development of clinical workflows aligned with policy and contractual requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure program adherence to federal healthcare standards
- Identify gaps in compliance and recommend corrective actions
- Support audits, reporting, and program reviews as needed
- Provide education and guidance to clinical staff regarding policy updates and implementation
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 10+ years of clinical experience
- Experience in military health programs, autism services, behavioral health, or ABA-related programs
- Experience interpreting clinical policy and operational manuals
- Strong understanding of healthcare compliance and quality standards
- Ability to translate regulatory language into practical clinical workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
