Accountabilities
- Develop, test and release new functionality for the platform.
- Help define and shape new product features in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Contribute to improving team dynamics and organizational culture.
- Optimize backend systems to efficiently manage energy data.
- Work collaboratively with engineers to enhance system performance.
- Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in drafting technical documentation.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proficient in a high-level programming language (Python preferred).
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, preferably Postgres.
- Experience in energy, commodity trading, or financial markets is a plus.
- Strong commitment to team best practices and culture.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Familiar with remote work and startup environments.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment (Kubernetes, Azure).
- Ability to write well-tested, maintainable code.
