Restaurant Supervisor - Abu Dhabi

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a busy bakery and café environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high service standards, supervising front-of-house staff, and supporting the efficient operation of the restaurant. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
  


• Lead, motivate, and support restaurant staff to achieve operational and customer service excellence.
  


• Monitor staff performance, attendance, grooming, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  


• Ensure guests receive prompt, friendly, and professional service at all times.
  


• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively and professionally.
  


• Assist with staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance management.
  


• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to maintain adequate stock.
  


• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
  


• Support the implementation of promotional activities, sales initiatives, and operational improvements.
  


• Conduct opening and closing procedures and ensure operational readiness throughout shifts.
  


• Prepare daily operational reports and communicate key updates to management.
  


• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards across all dining and service areas.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  


• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant, café, bakery, or hospitality environment.
  


• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  


• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  


• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.
  


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  


• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  


• Proficiency in POS systems and basic reporting.
  


• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  


• Experience within premium bakery, café, or casual dining concepts is highly desirable.
