Road Safety Coordinator

Job Summary

We are looking for a Road Safety Coordinator to manage and implement road and transport safety requirements, with a strong focus on IVMS data generation, monitoring and reporting. The candidate will be responsible for supporting HSE and transport safety activities and ensuring compliance with applicable road safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and implement Road Safety and Transport Safety requirements.
  
  


• Monitor and generate IVMS data and reports.
  
  


• Conduct HSE and Transport Safety inductions/orientations.
  
  


• Conduct HSE and road safety awareness sessions for workers.
  
  


• Understand and implement Journey Management Plans (JMP).
  
  


• Support Transport/Road Safety Risk Assessments.
  
  


• Conduct vehicle inspections and check required safety devices.
  
  


• Implement Transport Emergency Response Plans and procedures.
  
  


• Prepare Road Safety awareness training materials.
  
  


• Maintain road safety and IVMS-related databases.
  
  


• Generate and review safety reports from IVMS or equivalent systems.
  
  


• Coordinate with HSE, transport and other relevant teams on road safety matters.
  
  


• Ensure compliance with applicable ADNOC road safety requirements and procedures.
  
  

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from an accredited higher-learning institution.
  
  


• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent, subject to ADNOC Group approval.
  
  


• Other HSE certifications may be considered as per ADNOC requirements.
  
  


• IVMS software expertise – Mandatory.
  
  


• Valid UAE Driving Licence – Mandatory.
  
  


• Additional HSE training/certifications will be an advantage.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 2–4 years of overall industry experience.
  
  


• Minimum 1 year of experience in managing/implementing Road Safety activities.
  
  


• Experience with IVMS data generation and reporting.
  
  


• Lead Road Safety Coordinator: Minimum 5 years of experience in managing road transport safety.
  
  

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Road & Transport Safety.
  
  


• Understanding of H2S and Breathing Apparatus, where applicable.
  
  


• Ability to conduct vehicle safety inspections.
  
  


• Knowledge of Journey Management and emergency response procedures.
  
  


• Good report preparation and database management skills.
  
  


• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
  
  


• Strong coordination and interpersonal skills.
