Safety Supervisor

• Monitor and enforce workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
  
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments of facilities and work areas.
  
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, organizational policies, and emergency procedures.
  
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and prepare detailed reports.
  
• Conduct safety orientations, drills, and awareness training programs for staff.
  
• Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  
• Coordinate fire safety inspections and emergency evacuation procedures.
  
• Maintain safety records, reports, permits, and documentation.
  
• Ensure first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and emergency equipment are properly maintained.
  
• Liaise with external authorities, contractors, and vendors on safety -related matters.
  
• Support management in developing a strong safety culture within the organization.
  
• Monitor housekeeping and workplace cleanliness standards.
  
• Recommend improvements for occupational health and safety practices.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Minimum [2–5] years of experience in safety supervision or HSE -related roles.
  
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and risk management practices.
  
• Certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is preferred.
  
• Strong observation, reporting, and problem -solving skills.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  
• Ability to conduct training and emergency drills effectively.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report preparation.
  

• Experience in educational, healthcare, industrial, or corporate environments.
  
• Familiarity with emergency response planning and incident investigation.
  
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly.
