Primary Purpose
Conduct insurance premium audits for Worker sCompensation and General Liability policies by auditingpolicyholder s records, and applying manual rules and company
Essential Functions andResponsibilities JobDescription
As a Premium Auditor,you will conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation,General Liability, and Automobile policies by auditing policyholders records, and applying manual rules and company Your job will bebased from home with required daily travel to each audit Car travelwill be on average of 4 days per week within your assigned;
A PremiumAuditor will perform the following tasks:
- Prepare for theaudit by identifying the necessary information and type of recordsneeded
- Prepare schedule to maximizeoptimal use of time
- Correspond with insured via phone, email and mail tosetup audit
- Examine the policyholder s records, gather data todetermine correct classifications for business activities and writean effective description of operations
- Prepare complete audit document, explain results toinsured and communicate the results to the home office
- Travel to multiple audit locationsdaily/weekly

Required/Preferred:
- At least two years direct premiumauditor experience, preferable in a vendor Will train individuals with closely relatedbackground
- Minimum Associates degree in Business,Accounting or related fieldpreferred
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting or commercialinsurance will be considered in lieu of a collegedegree
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret financialdocuments
- General PC knowledge including Microsoft Excel and;Knowledge of Visual Audit is aplus
- Ability to communicate well with customers andstaff
- Represent NEIS, in a professionalmanner
- Valid driver s license and satisfactory driving record(based on NEIS guidelines)
