Sales Account Manager - Chemical & Industrial

The Account Manager - Chemical & Industrial Markets is responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities across the Middle East region, with new client and project acquisition as the primary focus.
The role promotes NOV's composite pipework systems, fiberglass structures and FRP tank solutions across oil & gas, petrochemicals, water treatment, power generation, mining, renewables, energy transition, data centres and industrial infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:

• Achieve annual sales revenue, order intake and profitability targets across assigned Middle East territories.
• Implement regional sales plans and business development activities aligned with regional and global objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for composite pipework systems, fiberglass structures and FRP tank solutions.
• Support project opportunities from early-stage specification through contract award and project execution.
• Support and grow key customer accounts while increasing customer engagement and repeat business.
• Serve as primary customer contact for assigned accounts and opportunities within the Middle East territory.
• Identify and target new customers, EPC contractors, channel partners and industrial end users.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline with clear forecasting and conversion strategies.
• Provide technical guidance, product recommendations, and support bid preparation and contract negotiations.
• Facilitate all direct conversations with Channel Parters. Develop partner revenue forecast and collaborate on sales strategy. Support KPI tracking for partners and conduct joint sales calls and events.

BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Proven track record in sales within industrial markets in the Middle East.
• Experience selling engineered products and solutions.
• Strong understanding of project-based sales cycles including EPC, contractor and end-user environments.
• Ability to support territory growth, customer development and business development activities.
• Strong customer engagement, communication, technical/commercial problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the Middle East region, approximately 60% travel.

Essential

• Engineering education and/or equivalent experience in industrial sales, engineered products or technical sales. Minimum of 5-10 years of high dollar account management.
• Middle East industrial market experience required; specific education/years not stated in source document.
