Drive the entire sales cycle frominitial customer engagement to closedsales
Prospect for potential customers usingvarious direct methods such as calling and face to face meeting,and indirect methods such as networking, social selling to clientswithin the assigned territory
Qualify prospectsagainst company criteria for ideal customers and sales within theterritory
Consult with prospect about businesschallenges and requirements, as well as the range of options andcost benefit to each
Maintain a high level ofrelevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversationswith prospects
Draft and deliverproposals
Report on sales activity (Daily VisitReport)
Keep detailed notes on prospect andcustomer interactions (adding and updating opportunities foreffective follow up)
Provide forecasts on bestcase and most likely sales volumes over relevant timeperiod
Work with the Marketing department toplan and execute generation campaigns
Providefeedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle,enhance sales and improve company branding andreputation
Provide feedback to Companymanagement on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs andopportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extendingcompany offerings
Be a positive representativeof the company and its brand in themarketplace
Conduct all sales activities withthe highest degree of professionalism and integrity
Requirements
Energetic and assertive with a strongpresence
Persuasive with strong communicationskills to initiate, negotiate and closebusiness
Tactful and smart to handleclient’s objections and present solutions and options toclose sales
Articulate and well versed withmaking presentations and sales pitches to prospective and existingclients
