Sales & Design Manager Pump Rental Services

Role Overview

We are seeking a Sales & Design Manager to lead technical sales and solution design for specialist pump rental, pumping, and overpumping services across the MENA region.

The role will be responsible for developing new business, managing key client relationships, securing specialist pumping contracts, and designing safe, reliable, and commercially viable pumping solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background combined with proven sales and business development experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the MENA region.
  
• Visit clients and project sites, follow up on leads, prepare proposals, and close sales opportunities.
  
• Develop quotations and technical/commercial proposals for pumping and overpumping projects.
  
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
  
• Develop framework agreements and support commercially sound client and contract arrangements.
  
• Design safe, reliable, and efficient pumping systems while ensuring protection of company equipment.
  
• Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues on pumping system design and applications.
  
• Promote monitoring and telemetry solutions as part of the company's technical offering.
  
• Prepare regional sales forecasts, sales reports, and business plans using Smartsheet.
  
• Lead the tender response process and coordinate technical and commercial submissions.
  
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and emerging business opportunities.
  
• Manage and coordinate the Hire Desk and Project Coordinator.
  
• Act as the key link between Design, Sales, and Operations teams.
  
• Provide technical and commercial input during contract discussions.
  
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to develop new business opportunities.
  
• Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for new markets and service lines.
  
• Support the division in achieving revenue, sales, and business development objectives.
