We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to promote our thermal spray coating solutions, including HVOF and Arc Spray, to clients in industries such as oil & gas, marine, aerospace, and energy. The ideal candidate is proactive, persuasive, and experienced in solution-based technical sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and target new business opportunities across core industries.
Analyze client applications and recommend suitable coating technologies.
Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and detailed presentations.
Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure feasibility.
Provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical consultation to clients.
Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and delivery timelines within company guidelines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Conduct market research and competitor intelligence.
Track sales activities and maintain CRM records accurately.
Requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
25 years of experience in technical sales; surface coatings industry preferred.
Strong understanding of thermal spray technologies (HVOF, Arc Spray).
Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to read technical drawings and understand customer specs.
Willingness to travel to customer sites and remote industrial areas.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and customer-centric mindset.
