Were looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Cybersecurity Technical Writer to develop high-quality documentation that helps our clients and internal teams understand, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation for cybersecurity systems, tools, protocols, and procedures.

• Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.

• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, product managers, and compliance teams to gather and validate technical content.

• Create content such as user guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), risk assessments, incident response documentation, and training materials.

• Ensure all documentation complies with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR).

• Update documentation in line with software updates, system changes, and emerging threats.

• Assist in audits and compliance reporting by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Technical Writing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a cybersecurity or IT environment.

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, terminology, and best practices.

• Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, Microsoft Office, or Adobe FrameMaker.

• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, CIS).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or related technical certifications.

• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, government).
