The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing the company's retail business across the UAE market, with a strong focus on household goods trading. The role requires an experienced sales professional with proven relationships across major retail accounts, including A-Class and B-Class retailers such as Carrefour, Lulu, Nesto, Almaya, and other key customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, driving sales growth, negotiating commercial agreements, and expanding the company's market presence across the UAE retail sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow relationships with key retail accounts across the UAE market.
Handle A-Class and B-Class retail customers, including major retailers such as Carrefour, Lulu, Nesto, Almaya, and similar accounts.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business growth, revenue, and profitability targets.
Manage existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, category managers, and key decision-makers within the UAE retail sector.
Drive product listings, visibility, availability, and distribution expansion across retail channels.
Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements.
Prepare sales forecasts, account plans, business reviews, and performance reports.
Work closely with internal teams, including operations, logistics, finance, and management, to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
Identify opportunities to increase market share and expand the company's presence in the household goods category.
Ensure timely collection follow-up and coordination with finance when required.
Represent the company professionally in client meetings, negotiations, and business development discussions.
Requirements:
Minimum 7+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably within household goods trading, homeware, kitchenware, cleaning products, FMCG, or similar consumer goods categories.
Proven experience managing UAE retail accounts, including A-Class and B-Class retailers.
Strong existing relationships within the UAE retail sector, especially with key accounts such as Carrefour, Lulu, Nesto, Almaya, and other major retailers.
Solid experience in both existing account management and new business development.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Good understanding of commercial agreements, retail trading terms, promotions, pricing, and account planning.
Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
Strong business acumen and target-driven mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
