Wehave an urgent requirement for Mobile ApplicationAutomation Engineer for one of our leading IT client. Asan Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing andimplementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. Youwill also review system requirements and track quality assurancemetrics.The key focus is to Identify, understand, recommend, andimplement technical best practices in terms of tools, processes,and work plans within a specific application vertical forcontinuous integration anddelivery.

Candidatemust have prior experience in automation testing for Mobileapplications

Knowledgeof mocking frameworks like Wiremock etc is highlypreferred

Requirements:

• Minimum5+ years of experience in Testing softwareapplications
  

• Extensiveexperience in testing web applications with a variety of browserplatforms, including Firefox, Chrome, and Safari is aplus.
  

• ThoroughUnderstanding of - Test life cycle & Defect lifecycle
  

• Abilityto understand requirements thoroughly, design, develop, executetests, and ensure testcoverage
  

• Workingwith the development team you should be adaptable, as allocationwill be across different test phases on severalprojects.
  

• Collaboratingwith developers, business analysts and users to understand testingneeds
  

• Ensuringapplication and infrastructure changes are thoroughly tested andtest tools are used appropriately to ensure an effective andefficient testprocess
  

• Providingaccurate and timely reporting of problems identified during testexecution and proactively ensuring appropriateresolution
  

• Troubleshootingdefects and managing defect tracking and resolution for defectsrelated to automated and loadtesting
  

• Abilityto Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plansand testcases
  

• Strongcommand of programming languages likeJava/JavaScript
  

• Experiencewith any Open Source testing tools likeSelenium/Cypress
  

• Abilityto query SQLdatabases
  

• Abilityto understand the test automation framework concepts, Contribute tothe development of automation frameworks and author automatedtests
  

• Understandingof GIT or equivalent ismandatory
