Sales Manager Geosynthetics

We are currently supporting a leading UAE-based manufacturer and solutions provider in the geosynthetics industry in identifying an experienced Sales Manager – Geosynthetics to be based in Dubai.

The client has an established presence in the region and offers a comprehensive portfolio of geomembranes, geotextiles, geogrids, geocells and related geosynthetic solutions, serving applications across infrastructure, environmental protection, waste containment, mining, oil & gas, landscaping and other civil engineering projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with key contractors, consultants, developers and project stakeholders across the UAE and wider GCC market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and business development strategies for the company's geosynthetic product portfolio.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying and converting new project and customer opportunities.
• Develop strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, EPC companies, infrastructure companies and government-related project stakeholders.
• Identify upcoming projects across infrastructure, waste management, mining, oil & gas, environmental and civil engineering sectors.
• Promote and position products including geomembranes, geotextiles, geogrids and geocells based on project requirements.
• Work closely with consultants and technical stakeholders to ensure the company's products are considered and specified within project requirements.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, technical discussions, quotations, negotiations and order closure.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts to management.
• Monitor market developments, competitor activities, pricing and emerging opportunities within the geosynthetics sector.
• Coordinate with technical, production and operations teams to ensure customer and project requirements are effectively addressed.
• Participate in client meetings, industry exhibitions, conferences and technical presentations.
• Support the development and expansion of the company's customer and project network across the UAE and GCC.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 7+ years of experience in sales/business development within geosynthetics, civil engineering products, infrastructure materials, construction materials or a closely related industry.
• Strong technical and commercial understanding of geomembranes, geotextiles, geogrids, geocells or related geosynthetic products.
• Proven track record of business development and project-based sales within the UAE/GCC.
• Established network among consultants, contractors, developers, EPC companies and infrastructure project stakeholders.
• Experience handling specification-driven sales and working with technical consultants would be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the UAE construction and infrastructure market.
• Commercially driven with strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-management capabilities.
• Ability to identify projects at an early stage and convert opportunities into business.
• UAE market experience is strongly preferred.
