Job Description - Sales Support Analyst

JobDetail:

Leadership

Provide technology deliveryleadership on initiatives, working in partnership with businessowner and overall Project/Program DeliveryLead

Builds andmanages (formally or informally) a technology team responsible forbusiness solution analysis, solution design, build, technicalanalysis, quality assurance, and release management, across theprogram/project

Engages appropriatetechnology stakeholders to identify and drive required outcomesthrough effective stakeholdermanagement

VendorManagement

Provideoversight of work and costs on projects utilizing consultingcompanies and solutionintegrators

Responsible formanaging technology third-party vendors and Statements of Work witha focus on performance, quality and cost management as it relatesto assignedproject/workstream

Provide reporting onprojects

Hold vendorsaccountable for on-time deliverables

PeopleManagement

Ensure the teamprovides realistic estimates and hold team responsible fordeliverables andtimelines

Coach andmentor the development team throughout theSDLC

Help targetappropriate training for team by identifying technologies/areas inneed

Providesguidance to others on how to make optimal use of tools to improvethe performance and quality of technologydelivery

Accountable fordetailed resource plans. Overall Oversight by DeliveryLead.

Ensures alltechnology teams and functions are providing estimates and updatesto project schedule, outlining risks and issues, and drivingremediation of tech risks, resolution of tech issues for assignedproject/workstream

ApplicationResponsibilities

Oversees the execution ofthe technology strategy while anticipating and prioritizing theimpediments and technologyrisks

Identifies,analyzes, and drives resolution of project risks and issues,working through the project structure, and reporting relationshipsin the Technology organization. Ensures issues are captured in postimplementation reviews, to avoidrecurrence

Establishes aplan for all technology deployment(s) and works with IT staffacross projects to align with the integratedplan

Responsible forthe consideration of future production support implications with acost-effective design and quality solution, inclusive ofapplication resiliency andavailability

Works withbusiness leaders associated with assigned project or workstream asneeded to confirm the solutions are functionality aligned with theproduct vision and that solution isfit-for-purpose.

Accountable to the deliverylead to provide input and advice on all tech aspects of theassignedproject/workstream

Accountable for providingtechnology estimates

Technology leader anddecision maker on assignedinitiatives

Responsible forhands-on involvement in developmentduties

Responsible forall aspects of supported systems including requirements, designs,data flows, integrations, project proposals, security, andstability

Responsible forproactive monitoring ofsystems

Responsible forthe design of systems and functionality and/or the delegation andoversight of designs

Responsible for code qualityof ongoing work including code reviews, code analysis, performancemonitoring, and oversight of testers/testprocesses

Providereporting on the status of applications, projects, andteams

Responsible forthe coordination of system changes across other groups withinUniFirst including development, BRM, infrastructure, projectmanagement, and businessusers

Deepunderstanding of source control, environment management,integrations, security bestpractices



Requirements


Requirements:

Experience

  • 10 + years working w/ versions of PeopleSoft andPeopleTools across HCM/FMS modules
  • 5+ years of progressively seniorexperience in technology design, development, and delivery
  • Project delivery using formalmethodologies
  • Must haveImplementation, design and customization experience for PeopleSoftHCM or FMS modules (experience with EIPP, ELM, AR projects are aplus)
  • Experience performingdata/code analysis, ETL, creation and review of technical designs,and documentation from the functional design, coding, unit testing,and debugging various PeopleSoft modules
  • Strong facilitation, communicationand presentation skills with tech and business audiences
  • Leadership of others, in formaland/or informal organization lines
  • Experience in appdevelopment/integration
  • Resource and projectmanagement experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of SaaS applications likeOracle Fusion and Workday is a plus


Education

Bachelor s Degree in computer science or related field

Additional Requirements

Ability tocreate/modify/communicate tech roadmap, and design/advocate forsolutions that align to existing roadmaps

Sense ofurgency, and ability to problem solve on the fly

Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills
