The Opportunity 

This is an opportunity to
join myZoi as a Senior Business Development Manager. The role will be based in Dubai,
UAE.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategy

  • Build a sustainable pipeline of
    companies with a large number of lower -income employees

  • Efficiently acquire users from
    onboarded companies and grow the relationship

  • Promote product, volume and revenue growth
  • Capture and share client feedback to support
    continuous improvement of the product offering

  • Act as an ambassador for the company
    and promote its value proposition to clients and other external stakeholders

  • Understand and stay up to date with
    the regulatory environment, competition, and business opportunities

Business
  • Achieve defined targets for onboarding
    companies through B2B sales and acquiring end users from these companies

  • Draw up periodic plans to generate new business to achieve set sales
    targets and objectives

  • Source and call on prospects on an ongoing basis to maintain a
    strong sales pipeline

  • Undertake sales presentations and organise monthly roadshows as per
    the agreed numbers

  • Establish and maintain close business collaborations with partners
    across the group to generate new business leads

  • Solicit referrals from clients and business partners
  • Build and deepen relationships with
    the existing client base to increase business penetration and cross -selling

  • Develop and implement sales and
    service plans to achieve agreed sales and revenue targets for existing and new
    clients

  • Carry out agreed sales activities,
    client presentations, attend events, financial literacy sessions, and other commercial
    initiatives

  • Drive business volume growth and
    increase subscriber base product adoption

  • Prioritise activities based on clients'
    existing or potential business and revenue contribution

  • Build an information database on existing clients to support
    relationship building and business growth efforts

  • Keep abreast of clients' needs and conduct regular checks on market
    trends and competitors' programme offering

Processes

  • Maintain sales discipline and ensure
    the pipeline is strong and updated accurately 

  • Provide truly professional key account management service to achieve
    a high level of customer satisfaction and retention

  • Practise service excellence when
    handling customer issues, complaints, and product enquiries in a timely, responsive,
    and problem -free manner

  • Work with the relevant teams across implementation, partnerships, products,
    legal, operations, compliance and risk within the company to maintain a
    high level of customer satisfaction

  • Enhance service levels through recommendation of improvements in
    operational processes, procedures and products based on customer feedback

  • Ensure smooth and timely closure of sales mandates and client
    onboarding

  • Ensure relevant forms and documents are submitted for processing
    according to the approved timeline and requirements

  • Ensure customers' personal information
    and documents are managed confidentially

  • Ensure all due diligence on matters related to Money Laundering and
    CDD for onboarding are carried out in accordance with compliance policies

People and Talent

  • Motivate oneself to improve selling
    and personal skills, especially in meeting sales targets, relationship
    management with clients and other stakeholders. Strong time management,
    communication and presentation skills

  • Upgrade knowledge and stay informed of
    new developments in fintech, competition, banking, payroll and payment products
    and services

Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with the Company's
    standards and policies and regulatory requirements pertaining to money
    laundering and CDD.

  • Exercise due care and diligence on
    matters related to money laundering and CDD in day -to -day sales processes.

  • Acquire relevant knowledge and
    training, and provide support to the broader team

  • Maintain zero tolerance for fraud and
    mis -selling.

Governance

  • Act and escalate quickly when any risk
    or control weakness becomes apparent, and ensure it is addressed within an
    appropriate timeframe and escalated through the relevant committees.

  • Work with multiple stakeholders to
    establish the applicable risk and control framework to ensure that the Group's
    ability to remain within risk appetite is not materially threatened.

  • Familiarise yourself with the
    Company's and the Group's governance structures and mandatory processes.

Regulatory & Business
Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the companies Values and Code
    of Conduct.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of
    ethics, including regulatory and business conduct. This includes
    understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all
    applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

  • Support the company to achieve fair outcomes for Clients.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and
    resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A graduate with 10+ years of business
    development / sales experience, preferably gained in the fintech, banking, exchange
    house, or financial services industry covering payroll services

  • Sound knowledge of financial products,
    with a deep understanding of underbanked payroll services in UAE and a
    willingness to learn.

  • Solid market connections and
    networking experience with large corporate clients across the UAE

  • Good knowledge of current Fintech offerings in the payroll
    and payment services space

  • Track record of consistently exceeding
    sales goals

  • Strong interpersonal, stakeholder
    management and communication skills, with the ability to deal with all levels
    of people, often in complex and difficult situations

  • Team player who shows initiative and assertiveness
  • Self -motivated and keen to upgrade and
    improve personal knowledge and skills to meet the evolving job requirements
