Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), providing expert clinical care to critically ill and premature newborns.
• Manage complex neonatal cases using advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and multidisciplinary neonatal teams.
• Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines to improve neonatal outcomes.
• Engage with families, providing education and support regarding newborn care and treatment plans.
• Participate in clinical research and continuous professional development activities.
• Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care in compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Medical degree with specialization in Neonatology.
• Board certification in Neonatology or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in neonatal care with senior consultant or leadership roles.
• Expertise in managing advanced newborn and NICU care, including ventilator management and resuscitation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Valid medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi or eligibility to obtain one.
• Commitment to research, education, and maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge.
