Senior Consultant Psychiatry- Government Healthcare Facility

SearchPlus HR is collaborating with a leading government healthcare facility to recruit an experienced Senior Consultant Psychiatrist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of mental health services within the public sector.

As a Senior Consultant Psychiatry, you will provide expert psychiatric care, lead clinical service delivery, and support multidisciplinary teams in managing complex mental health cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Guide the clinical team in evidence-based psychiatric care tailored to government healthcare settings.
• Supervise junior psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable government regulations and standards in mental health services.
• Contribute to training programs, workshops, and mental health awareness initiatives within the community.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and research projects related to psychiatric care.

• Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) with Board Certification in Psychiatry.
• Extensive clinical experience in psychiatry, preferably in government healthcare settings.
• Proven leadership and management skills within clinical environments.
• Familiarity with public healthcare policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
