Job Description - Senior Contracts Engineer - Arabic Speaking

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer â Contracts to join a well-established organization within the utilities/engineering sector. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in contract management, procurement, and engineering projects, particularly within EPC or infrastructure environments.

Arabic speakers are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

â¢ Manage the full contract lifecycle â from preparation, review, negotiation, to finalization

â¢ Handle contracts related to engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), SLAs, and maintenance agreements

â¢ Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with vendors, contractors, and service providers

â¢ Ensure contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies

â¢ Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks

â¢ Work closely with procurement, legal, finance, and project teams

â¢ Monitor contract performance, obligations, and supplier delivery

â¢ Maintain proper documentation, contract records, renewals, and amendments

â¢ Support cost optimization by analyzing contract terms and pricing structures

â¢ Prepare reports on contract status, risks, and performance KPIs

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

â¢ Bachelorâs degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or similar)

â¢ 4â8 years of experience in contract management within engineering, procurement, or EPC projects

â¢ Strong experience in:

â¢ Contract drafting and negotiation

â¢ Commercial terms and risk management

â¢ Procurement and supply chain processes

â¢ Good understanding of:

â¢ Contract law and compliance

â¢ Cost structures, pricing models, and payment terms

â¢ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

â¢ Ability to work in a cross-functional, project-driven environment

â¢ Language Requirement

â¢ Arabic â Required

â¢ English â Strong proficiency required

â¢ Preferred Background
