Job Description: Project Engineer – Senior

Job Description Summary

1. Manage all Engineering requirements per the relevant scope requirements
2. Ensure compliance with statutory, consultants, and local authorities’ approvals and guidelines
3. Oversee procurement/material/material submittals to align with contract requirements
4. Resource and manage Draughting and Engineering activities

Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to contract specifications and guidelines throughout project phases
2. Submit material submittals in compliance with consultant requirements
3. Ensure Method Statements & Risk Assessments align with company HSE/QA-QC procedures
4. Manage procurement/long lead item schedule and delivery status
5. Control dissemination of contractual documents to relevant site team members
6. Manage Drafting team and ensure accuracy of drawings
7. Apply Value Engineering and Planning to contract facets
8. Check design, engineering, and installation details for compliance
9. Assume responsibility for progress and quality of works on site
10. Lead site co-ordination for efficient working services
11. Co-ordinate appointment of specialist sub-contractors
12. Monitor Engineering deliverables for compliance and approvals
13. Liaise with Main Contractor, Consultants, Clients, and authorities
14. Co-ordinate with statutory authorities for installation approvals
15. Identify and record design changes that may impact cost and time

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years’ experience
• Computer literate in MS Office and experience in Revit
• Good knowledge of current MEP System Design techniques and technology
• Strong negotiation skills and interpersonal abilities
• Solid understanding of local and international codes and standards
