Senior Engineer - Construction - TransportationInstallation

• Candidate is able to identify thescope for offshore T&I of platforms, and able to plan themaccording to required milestones of the project. Also, will beresponsible for planning the campaigns and preparing requiredmaterial and tools.
• Candidate is responsiblefor the management of all T&I subcontractors duringengineering and preparations until installation of the project andthe As-built preparations.
• Ensure that theProject HSSE Plan adequately covers the T&I activities andare compliant.
• Enforce effective implementationof policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assignedsectional activity so that all relevant procedural/ legislativerequirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality,cost-effective service.
• Promote &comply with applicable safety instructions and other HSE proceduresin all T&I activities.
• Initiate earlytechnical discussions with the T&I subcontractor on theinterfaces with Petrofac’s design team and fabricationyard to ensure early inputs.
• Assist, witnessand, follow up at fabrication yard for installation of procuredaids and free-issued material by T&I subcontractor (e.g.,rigging gears, positioning system,etc.).
• Prepare and develop installationprocedures, method statement, technical query as perclient's requirement.
• Arrange, attend,and prepare MOM for the meetings with Clients, T&IContractors, and vendors.
• Provide ProjectManagement guidance to T&I Contractor to efficientlycontrol his transport and installation activities (from engineeringtill installation) and ensure proper coordination is made withininvolved Contractor’s entities (engineering, vendors,quality…) and varioussubcontractors.
• Keep management regularly andproperly informed on T&I cost and schedule with forecastfor the Project completion through an efficient reportingsystem.
• Ensure consistence and correctinterfacing with other areas during the various phase of EPCdetailed design, procurement, fabrication, installation and animatededicated transverse coordination between them as required toensure all requirements for T&I activities are compliedwith (especially between jacket and topsidescampaigns).
• Interface with fabrication yard(s)and T&I Contractor for the load-out of piles, jackets,decks, helidecks, bridges and various appurtenances, in closecooperation with MWS.
• Anticipate the offshoreactivities and ensure Contractor starts in due time preparation ofthe critical offshore activities (fleet mobilization, load-outs,offshore installation...).
• In case of drift inschedule, liaise with the T&I Manager and other teaminvolved (engineering, construction, commissioning) to studyremedial actions.
• Assist T&I Manager tocompile dossier and make presentation to obtain all necessaryinternal (validation committees like review gates) and external(Shareholders) approvals for Project contractawards.
• Ensure timely finalization ofT&I contractual documents and contract awards forEPC.
• Manage Detail Engineering and T&IWorks progress including follow-up of engineering and vendordocumentation reviews to ensure compliance with design dossier,SOR, Company specifications. Corporate standard and HSE regulation,international codes and classification societyrules.
• Promote value engineering with FEEDEngineer in the Platform design with objective to reduce Projectcapital expenditures.
• Ensure, in collaborationwith the T&I Manager and the Engineering Manager thatT&I engineering deliverables produced by EPC contractorsare properly assigned to and reviewed by appropriately qualifiedProject personnel within the specified timeperiod.
• Ensure EPC contract management withregards to all technical, commercial and contractual issues arisingduring T&I Package execution and liaise with theT&I Manager on regular basis on thosematters.
• Supervision of all T&Iactivities during execution to witness the entire installationoperations and directly deal with the MWS and Clientrepresentatives, prepare MOCs, attend Go No-Go meetings, get COAsfrom MWS, etc.
• Follow up with T&Icontractors to ensure submission of the As-installed documents ontime.
  

EssentialQualifications And Skills

• Minimum 5 years of offshoreT&I experience, preferably in renewable –Offshore Sub Stations.
• Bachelor’sdegree or equivalent in engineering.
• ValidNorth Sea offshore travel fitness medical and BOSIET (offshoresurvival training).
• Experience of offshoreproject during construction phase at yard is aplus.
• Experience in offshore facilities atconceptual and pre-FEED stage is aplus.
• Ability to work on projects in a complexand multicultural and harsh environment.
• Mustbe comfortable to travel offshore during the project execution andinstallation period.
